Frequently Asked Questions:

What is an audio conference/webinar?
An audio conference, sometimes called a webinar, is a live training presentation conducted via the internet and telephone. Participants log-on and dial-in at a designated time to hear the speaker over the phone and view the PowerPoint presentation on their computer screen. They are considered the most cost-effective form of training because 1) you can invite as many colleagues as you’d like to listen in on a single phone line via speakerphone; 2) you incur no travel expenses; and 3) employees are back at work immediately after the session ends. You will receive your dial-in instructions 24 - 48 hours before the date of the conference.

How do audio conferences work?
24 - 48 hours before the date of the conference, you'll receive by email complete instructions on how to join the conference. The email will include the dial-in number and passcode, link to the presentation as well as full contact information should you encounter any problems. Be sure to allow approximately ten minutes before the conference start time, to dial-in and be placed into the call.

What does "On-Demand" mean?
Our 24/7 On-Demand Audio Conferences are a downloadable version of the conference for all your managers and employees to utilize. No waiting on a date, or a CD to be shipped. An access code will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of the order date. You and your team will then have unlimited access to that audio conference.

How can I register?
1) Online by visiting www.workplacetrainingcenter.com
2) Call Workplace Training Center customer service at 1-800-780-4066 ext. 208

How do I get the handout(s)?
24 - 48 hours before the date of the conference, you'll receive by email complete instructions on how to join the conference. The email will include a link to the presentation materials.

What is an "Audio CD?"
The Audio CD is an audio recording of a given conference. You can listen to the CD in a CD player, exactly as you would a music CD, or using the CD drive in your computer. CDs are shipped 2-3 weeks after the conference date and include all handout materials.

Can my colleagues listen in as well?
Absolutely. The conference fee is for a single phone line, but most companies have several people listening at once via speakerphone in a conference room. There's no additional cost.
