Petrina Carmody is a Senior Consultant at ETS. In this role she is responsible for advising clients on the design, implementation and interpretation of all types of Employee and Customer research and 360° Feedback Programs. She runs workshops for clients on various aspects of survey and feedback programs. She also assists clients in implementing change informed by survey outcomes. Her current clients include iTouch, Lloyds TSB, MicroStrategy, edotech, Sony Computer Entertainment, Roche and Nationwide Building Society.

Before joining ETS, Petrina worked at the Veterinary Laboratories Agency (an executive agency of the UK Government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) where she completed her PhD research on the Psychology of Risk Communication. Her work with the agency included designing, running and interpreting quantitative and qualitative research and translating these scientific outcomes for decision-makers and lay audiences alike.

Prior to her PhD, Petrina was a Trainee Prison Governor on HM Prison Service's Accelerated Promotion Scheme. Petrina's PhD is from the University of Reading and her bachelor's degree, also in Psychology, is from the University of York.

Edward Nichols B.Sc (Hons)

Edward Nichols was promoted to Client Services Manager in ETS at the beginning of 2002. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the management and allocating resources to all ETS survey projects and for directly managing all aspects of the largest and most complex projects. He joined ETS early in 1999 as a Project Manager and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in January 2001. He has managed survey projects for Center Parcs, Dixons Stores Group, Experian, General Electric, HSBC, Eli Lilly, Lloyds TSB, Roche Products, and Technical Aid International.

Before joining ETS, Edward Nichols worked as a recruitment consultant at a major Recruitment Agency, in which capacity he provided a range of services to the Human Resource departments of some of the UK's leading companies.

He has a degree in Biology (Genetics) from Birmingham University.

Continuing Education:

  • This program has been approved for 1.5 recertification credit hours toward PHR and SPHR through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
