Build Skills and Confidence: Learn to Love Public Speaking

This presentation offers valuable tips on how to engage an audience and manage public speaking anxiety, whether you're pitching your product or service, negotiating a deal, running a staff meeting or speaking to a room of 500. Deliver value through practical, applicable and relevant information and tools that your audience can immediately use.

Speaking with confidence and assertiveness allows you to convey a professional and authoritative image and build credibility as a leader in your field, attracting more business and contributing to strong relationships with staff, clients, partners and vendors.

Topics covered include organization and preparation, audience engagement, eye contact, voice, movement, time management, relaxation, fear and anxiety, and more.

Learning Objectives:

  • Prepare and deliver an effective presentation.
  • Meet the audience's needs before your own.
  • Distill down the essence of your message.
  • Engage the audience through interaction, stories, examples and analogies.
  • Know when it's okay to break the "rules."
  • Reframe negative thinking about public speaking.
  • Manage fear and anxiety.
