Toni Cascio, PH.D. is vice president at Bon Mot Communications, where she leads the companys training workshops and provides one-on-one leadership coaching. Prior to joining Bon Mot Communications, Toni taught communication skills at the graduate level for more than 12 years. Her academic appointments include the University of South Carolina and the University of Maryland, where she served as an associate professor.
Toni has more than 10 years of communications consulting experience in the diverse arenas of business, education and law. As a recognized leader in interpersonal communications, she has presented at dozens of international, regional and national conferences.
Since 1990, Toni has been a licensed clinical social worker, and her current practice includes executive, management and leadership coaching. A published author, Toni has written 16 articles and co-edited the book Religious Organizations in Community Services, which presents a 12-step model for religious organizations to develop community action programs. She has also served as a reviewer for several major academic journals, including Families in Society.
Toni has a bachelor's degree from the Johns Hopkins University, a master's degree from the University of Maryland, and holds a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was awarded the prestigious Herman Levin Doctoral Student of the Year Award. In 1990, she was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, the nation's oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society.
