Contractor Liability with Immigration Law
Join us for a 90-minute audio conference as we discuss the history of I-9 compliance and how the Secure Border Initiative has led to changes for today's contractor, including a process in which criminal charges and arrests are becoming more commonplace.
During this event we will discuss the mechanics of completing I-9 Forms accurately and on time. We will also discuss subcontractor liability and ways to protect yourself and your company from charges, penalties and arrests with tools such as indemnification and the certification of the subcontractor's underlying I-9 forms.
Attendees will receive guidance on establishing immigration and no-match letter policies to ensure that their approaches to these issues are managed in a consistent and non-discriminatory way. Finally, we will provide the attendees with a framework for conducting their own self audits and provide them with the tools to get their I-9 house in order and to properly handle and respond to Social Security no-match letters. This is an event you can't afford to miss!
