Designing a Surgery Suite That Protects Your Patients and Your Bottom Line

Surgery suite design is being influenced by factors in healthcare that haven’t even been determined yet, factors like a potential public option, technology, and the growing U.S. population.
With all of the new choices and trends emerging, how can you design your surgery suites to stand up to the unknown demands they will face years down the road without major reinvestment?
How will you protect patient privacy? Plan for emergencies? Encourage smooth staff interaction? Accommodate new technologies? Is bigger always better when it comes to efficiency and ROI? (Not necessarily—anecdotal evidence provides a dizzying array of variables.)
You have questions. Douglas Gordon, Senior Medical Planner and Surgical and Interventional Suites Design Specialist, has surprising answers. In this revealing and accredited healthcare facility training, find out several of the key factors that have had the greatest impact on surgery suite design, including the shift from separate pre-op and PACU units to a merged environment, interventional practices and patient-staff interaction.
Gain the knowledge you need to make informed decisions for your own facility. Join Douglas as he focuses on the challenges of designing for an environment that you know is going to change. Using real-life examples, together you will explore what is driving the changes in modern surgical suite design, as well as the potential future evolution of design.
This accredited surgical suite design training is one of the best ways you can make informed decisions that will get your facility ready for tomorrow—and protect your investment while providing the absolute best care for your patients.
