For nearly 20 years, Jeanette Maw McMurtry, MBA/APR, has been helping businesses of all sizes develop and execute successful marketing strategies for building brand equity and lifetime sales among key customers. She is the author of Big Business Marketing for Small Business Strategies (McGraw-Hill 2003), a talk show host, and frequent presenter on marketing at industry trade shows and events.
Her experience includes positions at American Express, Ketchum Communications Worldwide, DDB Worldwide Communications, a large health care system and high tech start-up. Additionally, she operated a successful consulting business and has won numerous awards for innovative and results-generating campaigns utilizing direct communications, advertising, public relations, and special event strategies and tools.
Currently, McMurtry is the Vice President of Marketing for G. A. Wright Marketing, a full-service direct marketing agency located in Denver, Colorado.
McMurtry holds an MBA with a marketing emphasis and earned accreditation in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

He is a sought-after speaker and author of numerous studies and reports on advertising and direct marketing.
Before the consulting and marketing businesses, he founded Action Sports of Denver, Inc. Previously he was a captain and commander of an infantry company in the United States Army and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
