5 Steps to HR Success: Increase Your Value, Advance Your Career

In most organizations, the HR professional provides valuable coaching services to both management and employees as a core part of their duties. Since HR is typically the department that deals in confidential and sensitive issues, an internal source may not be the best way to go for help. Yet, the repercussions from the decisions you make without the benefit of the type of counsel and assistance that you'd routinely give to others may cost you dearly.

Join veteran coach Robert Bowen in this insightful audio conference to discover ways you can:

  • Be a more effective HR leader.
  • Improve your value to the company's bottom line.
  • Focus in on your own personal brand.
  • Create a better vision for your future.
  • Eliminate career uncertainty.

Although workplace violence may often be unforeseen, there are steps to take to prevent it and to protect employees. The prevention of workplace violence is not the domain of any single department within an organization. Eliminating violence in the workplace before it happens should be a top priority for every executive, manager and team leader. Every organization should have a workplace violence policy just like they have an emergency policy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Goal Clarity: Find out how to identify your professional needs and align them with your organization.
  • Skills Upgrade: Discover how to zero in on those items that may be missing in your skills arena and comprehend how they are critical for individual and organizational success.
  • Strategy Formulation: Learn how to create and focus on a long and short range plan to move in the desired career direction; and examine options and ideas to keep a line of sight approach in your job.
  • Optimize Environment: Utilize techniques to examine your place of business to best understand ways to support and take advantage of it in your career development.
  • Master Psychology: Develop the skills to check your own thinking to ensure decisions are made from verifiable assumptions vs. grapevine or personal invention.
